Congo radio
This country is unquestionably one of the poorest countries in Africa in terms of radio station dotation.
Indeed as far as we are concerned, we did not even find any national private radio or State radio.
Therefore there are only two international radios broadcasting in this country:
Africa N°1
This radio is a pan-African station that broadcast the latest news from Paris. It is a company regulated by Gabonese law. 60% of its capital is owned by the state, and the rest by Gabonese private shareholders. Africa No.1 can be heard locally in several countries and therefore is one of the major radios in the African French Speaking countries

RFI 1 Afrique
RFI is a multilingual and multicultural French radio. It was created in 1975 and has for main objective the information through the broadcasting of daily programs made for the francophone countries.
It is as well as the BBC World Service, the Deutsche Welle and the Voice of America, one of the four largest international radio stations. RFI’s Africa Department beams out many hours of special news for the continent several times a day.
It closely follows events in Africa, from political crisis to major sport events.
In addition RFI is broadcasting four programs especially made for the African countries:
Débat africain: 20 minutes of completely free speech.
Afrique presse: Discussion about Africa’s major issues with African journalists.
Afrique écho: Daily news about Africa’s economy by the economy desk
Afrique sport: African sport news.
