There are two national Luxembourg radio gathered into one group: RTL
RTL is the largest television and radio group in Europe as it operates 40 radios and TV stations in 10 countries 18 of which are radio stations.
It has been the most powerful station in Europe since its creation in 1932.
This non-specialised radio has benefited the liberalization and deregulation of the European audiovisual media in the mid-eighties to expand its activities in Europe.

There are four regional radios in Luxembourg:
Radio Latina
Launched on October 5th, 1992 the aim of this radio is to promote the integration of the Latin-original people living in Luxembourg through two national tone dialling.
This radio is considered to be non-specialised since the programs broadcasted by Radio Latina are diverse multicultural and multilingual and deal with information, sports and entertainment.
This permits Radio Latina to record goods levels of audience ratings and to hold a predominant situation on the Luxembourg radio scene.

Honnert 7
Most commonly called Radio 100,7 this radio has first emitted on September 19th, 1993.
Belonging to the Public Sector the main topic used by Radio 100,7 is culture, even though it also deals with information and entertainment. In addition to the radio programs Radio 100,7 is promoting the history, the language and the culture of Luxembourg through its participation in cultural events such as lectures theatre plays or concerts.

Den Neie Radio (DNR)
It is a non-specialized radio that can deal with information, music, sport, animation and services.
It is broadcasted all over the country through four different tone diallings.
It is currently the most dynamic radio in Luxembourg since the overall since the audience ratings increased by more than 3% reaching 11.4%.
It is now the second largest radio station in Luxembourg.
